How much does dryer repair cost?
Our service call is $89 per appliance. It covers the trip and a full diagnosis, and it’s due even if you decide not to repair. Your technician quotes the repair before any work begins — approve it within 5 days and the $89 goes toward it. Veterans and seniors (65+) get a discount.
Is my dryer worth repairing?
A common rule of thumb: if the dryer is less than about 10 years old and the repair costs less than half the price of a comparable new one, repairing it usually makes sense. You get the repair price after the diagnosis, so you can decide before any work is done.
Can the technician come today?
Same-day service depends on availability. Call or text (470) 619-2900 for our earliest opening, or book online to pick a time. We work Monday through Saturday, 8 AM to 6 PM.
My dryer runs but won’t heat. What’s wrong?
Usually it comes down to one part: a blown thermal fuse, a worn heating element or a bad thermostat. A blown fuse often means the vent is restricted, so your technician checks the airflow too.
What should I do until the technician arrives?
If you smell burning, stop the dryer and turn it off at the breaker. Otherwise, clean the lint screen and check that the vent hose behind the dryer isn’t kinked or crushed.
